Crafting Supplies Outlet was conceived in 2010 as a result of me leaving full time teaching.
I started my teaching career in the early 1990’s, teaching mainly, Design Technology. By the mid noughties, it was clear that the profession I was so passionate about had changed and my heart was no longer in it.
I have always loved producing works in Wood, Acrylics, Metals and Sinamay……….. Pretty much anything really……I just love making things. In the last 10 year Crafting Supplies Outlet has evolved considerably, I no longer just sell supplies but run workshops for YMCA's up and down the country. Recently, I also started to work with UHL Arts and Heritage (Leicester), delivering ‘Crafting for Wellbeing’ workshops.
Ultimately, ‘THE DREAM’ is to establish an Open Workshop in Rural Leicester, where everyone and
anyone would be welcome to come and make something or learn a new skill.
